New South Wales Premier Chris Minns has ruled out a trip to China.

This comes after potential security threats have already driven the federal government to ban the Chinese-owned app TikTok, over fears data could be fed to Beijing.

Mr Minns told Ben Fordham there are far more greater issues to deal with in NSW right now, compared to China.

“I wasn’t elected to do those trips, my responsibilities are right here, we have an enormous amount of domestic issues we are facing, that’s my priority.”
