The NSW Premier has done a “last minute” backflip on his approach to coal.

Mr Perrottet previously stated he wouldn’t entertain the idea of expanding the lifespan of the Eraring Power Station.

But the Premier told Ben Fordham that he was “always open” to making sure there is reliable and affordable energy.

Ben Fordham: “Are you open to extending the life of Eraring?

Dominic Perrottet: “I’m open to all those options!”

Ben Fordham: “Is that a yes?

Dominic Perrottet: “Yes!”
