An Australian couple went on an adventure and found 12.3g of gold under a northern NSW creek.

The couple has been recovering from the devastating 2022 floods in the Northern region only to be hit again this year.

Kristian Gerathy told Deborah Knight that they found $1000 worth of gold after “sniping”, following the February-March flooding.

“I was just lucky enough to find a spot where a tree pushed all the big rocks away and gold was just sitting there.”
