Dutton hits out at PM risking national security with TPV decision

Mark Levy

There’s a concern illegal boats could be making their way to Australia following changes to the nation’s visa rules.

On Monday, it was announced 19,000 refugees on temporary visas will be allowed to stay in the country permanently.

The move fulfils a Labor election promise but has sparked fears of a wave of illegal boat arrivals.

Peter Dutton has told Ray Hadley the Prime Minister has compromised national security.

“They’re obviously anticipating boats on the waters.”
