Elderly struggle as cashless transactions become the norm

The CEO of the Council of The Aging, Patricia Sparrow spoke with Chris O’Keefe on businesses using cashless transactions and its effects on the elderly. 

2GB listener Brian called out Australia Post for making their Manly branch cashless.

Brian revealed in the recording that the Manly branch moved due to flooding and their new space doesn’t have enough room for a cash register or safe.

Patricia told Chris she believes there ‘should be an option to pay’.
