Has Dorrigo’s famous mascot Rodney The Rooster found love?

Deborah Knight

Rodney the Rooster received recognition last year after wandering the streets of Dorrigo in NSW and quickly became the town’s unofficial mascot.

A local resident Helen spoke with Deborah Knight about Rodney’s story and how he came to be cherished by the small town.

It seems like he has also found love in the New Year.

Helen has ‘no idea’ where Rita the ‘small caramel coloured chook’ came from, but can confirm they are now dating.

To hear Helen clarify rumours of Rodney being taken away following the Council’s new policy press PLAY below.
