‘Disgraceful’: Ben slams Labor for wiping CFMEU legal bill
Ben Fordham has slammed Labor for wiping a CFMEU legal bill.
The Attorney-General is under fire from Ben after it was revealed his office waived a six-figure costs order.
Last year the militant Union lost a major case in the Federal Court as The Australian Building and Construction Commission managed to uphold a ban on Union posters and Eureka flags on job sites.
The court ordered the CFMEU to pay legal costs of more than $300,000.
“Maybe this is something that can be referred to a Federal corruption body? Can the federal ICAC look into this one? Multi-million dollar political donations, fines waived, legal bills imposed on taxpayers, politicians covering for their mates and turning a blind eye to bullies, It’s got the lot!” Ben said.
