Liberal Senator Jacinta Price believes the reinstatement of alcohol bans in Central Australian communities has come far too late and The Voice will not suffice.

Long-term bans will be put in place, and local health and youth-support programs will also receive a $250m federal funding injection.

Senator Price told Ben Fordham the proposed Voice to parliament will not help the issues.
