Over the weekend there were two separate and interesting encounters individuals had with animals.

On the NSW Mid North Coast, a family was woken up by two boxing kangaroos.

And to top it all off there was a lost cow that needed rescuing near Rockhampton after it got stuck in a tree.

The steaks were high for a lost cow over the weekend, after it became udderly stuck in a tree out in bushland in Port Alma, near Rockhampton.
