A GP on the Mid North Coast has been forced to make the tough decision to walk away from a nursing home.

Dr Marian Dover provides crucial services to the elderly and vulnerable, who struggle to get to a local doctor. But because Medicare rebates haven’t increased with inflation, she simply can’t afford to keep bulk-billing her patients.
