A new survey suggests Australia’s aged care sector is in financial trouble.

Seven in ten facilities are operating at a loss.

They are losing an average of 21 dollars a day per bed.

Aged Care and Community Care Providers Association Chief Executive Tom Symondson told John Stanley, fixing the issue is complicated.

“It’s a huge mess.”
