Transport compliance officers will be cracking down on taxi drivers who flout the rules this New Year’s Eve.

Spurred on by a mountain of complaints to a taxi-industry hotline, cabbies, refusing to use their meters and demanding fixed prices, will be reprimanded by the industry watchdog.

The Executive Director of Business Sydney, Paul Nicolaou joined Joe Hildebrand to talk about the issue.
