Mark Levy calls on Cricket Australia CEO to resign

Adam Hawse

Mark Levy is calling for Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley to resign, following claims by David Warner the team were encouraged to ball tamper by executives back in 2016.

“The whole thing is a mess, it’s a complete and utter dog’s breakfast.

“When you break it all down, the players and we don’t know how many were involved, stuffed up by cheating in the first place.”

Mark Levy says the governing body has failed the players with a dysfunctional process.

“My question to the custodians of cricket in this country is; how have you allowed a sporting powerhouse to become the laughing stock of the world.

“If it wasn’t bad enough in 2018, it’s become a fair dinkum joke once again.”
