Ben Fordham urges PM to keep up mortgage commitment

Ben Fordham

Ben Fordham is warning Aussies of the unfortunate reality that they will face with the latest rate rise.

The Reserve Bank has just lifted interest rates for the 8th time in 8 months, they were 0.1% in May and they’re now 3.1% in December, with economists predicting they will continue towards 4% by next year.

Ben is calling on the Prime Minister to live up to his promises.

During the election campaign, Anthony Albanese told us ‘Labor has real, lasting plans for cheaper electricity… cheaper mortgages’, Well, let’s hope we see the plan, PM!” Ben said.

“Because 6 months after your election win, we’re still waiting for that commitment to be kept.”
