Government asks NSW to impose price caps on coal and gas

The Albanese government has requested that NSW and Queensland impose their own coal price caps.
New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia are pushing against such a move.
New data shows coal royalties will contribute almost $3 billion to Queensland’s budget coffers.
Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor told Luke Grant cost of living pressures are bearing down on Australians.
