Medicare coverage for Heart Health Check under review

Hundreds of thousands of Australians suffering from heart issues are in for some bad news.

A Medicare rebate for a life-saving test could be axed in June next year.

Professor Jayme Bennetts is the President of The Australian and New Zealand Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons.

He joined Deborah Knight to explain what this will mean for people with heart issues.
