Sydney’s train network operating significantly below expectations
Sydney’s peak hour trains are regularly running late and have not met monthly on-time targets of 92 per cent since May.
The latest rail report card shows delays continue to plague the system, even when the union’s industrial action was suspended.
Shadow Transport Minister Jo Haylen told Joe Hildebrand it has led to passengers abandoning the network for more reliable options.
“It’s easy to blame industrial action, but train services have been running consistently late all year.”
