A fresh COVID wave is sweeping the country, driving up infections in New South Wales, and triggering a heightened alert level in Queensland.

NSW has recorded 22 COVID deaths, and seen a surge in infections and hospitalisations in the past week.

Catherine Bennett, Chair in Epidemiology at Deakin University told Clinton Maynard it’s about being aware and adapting to risk.
