The world premiere of The Lovers, a pop musical written by a young Australian writer and composer, is earning heavy praise from the public.

Laura Murphy is reimagining Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with a fresh and infectious original score.

The play is showing at the Sydney Opera House, with the production featuring some of the best voices in Australia’s musical theatre scene.
