Sydney neurosurgeon Dr Charlie Teo is rejecting the portrayal of him as a “money-hungry” operator.

The high-profile surgeon is currently under investigation by the Health Care Complaints Commission.

A recent 60 Minutes investigation aired claims from patients claiming Dr Teo has caused them more harm than good.

He admits to Ben Fordham that he’s made mistakes that he regrets.

“But I deny the accusation that it means nothing to me.

“I treat all my patients like a member of my own family.”
