I caught a glimpse of the striking new electric Genesis GV60 SUV recently – a very stylish mid-sized SUV that’s already attracted around 150 orders even though no one has taken a test drive let along seen the finished product. The third full electric model from Hyundai’s luxury brand will join the full electric GV70 medium SUV and G80 sedan both of which have also attracted a large order bank. With smooth coupe like styling and a 160mm ride height the mid-sized electric Genesis GV60 comes in two models – $103,700 for the standard all-wheel-drive, $110,700 for the high performance all-wheel-drive flagship which has a 0 to 100km/hour sprint time of just 4 seconds– both with a claimed driving range of 470Km from 77.4kW/h battery packs. Both GV60’s will offer a choice of five-year complimentary charging on the ChargeFox network or an installed home charger. I’m David Berthon.
