2GB Drive listener Imre has revealed the reason why a Victorian governor held up Qantas flight.

Linda Dessau requested that Qantas staff permit her to pre-board flight QF1518 to Canberra ahead of all others.

Passengers were subject to disruption and exactly why this was necessary isn’t clear, but the request was approved.

Imre told Chirs O’Keefe there has been no apology from the airline.

“I’ve never seen anything like it.”
