Should universities require a higher ATAR for wannabe teachers?

A parent has shared a story of how their child got a question correct yet the teacher said it was wrong!

Craig Kettle’s daughter is in year 8 and presented her maths answer to her substitute teacher.

“This is a real problem,” Joe said.

Craig told Joe Hildebrand he believes the ATAR scores should be raised for people wanting to become teachers.

“I think the issue at the moment is the tier based system.”
