Electric buses are coming to NSW – 17 years late.

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has admitted the government has fallen short of plans to electrify the state’s buses after the transport agency confirmed the project will be finished in 2047.

The original timeline was to electrify all 8,000 buses by 2030.

“I don’t think that’s ever happened before – 17 years overdue!” Ben Fordham said.
