New program calls for Aussies to assist farmers in harvesting season
The Executive GM for Programmed Skilled Workforce is trying to entice individuals to work in the regions after the farming industry has been hit hard by job shortages.
‘Programmed’ is calling upon university students, backpackers and more to hit the road, visit regional Australia and join in the national harvest.
David Hele told Deborah Knight there are over 580 jobs on offer at GrainFlow’s storage centres across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
No experience is necessary for most of the seasonal roles and its a working period of four to 10 weeks.
