Ray Hadley has revealed a divide between Manly coach Des Hasler and his players occurred long before the rainbow jersey drama.

The Mornings host has revealed halfback Daly Cherry-Evans was given special treatment to live away from the NRL bubble in Queensland in 2021.

“So you had the coach allowing the captain to be special and live in a house away from the rest of the players,” Ray said.

“And that created a divide. ”
