Latest government investment set to help with disease ‘preparedness’
Dugald Saunders says the NSW government will spend $65m “really thoughtfully” in order to tackle biosecurity threats in Australia.
The NSW government has announced today record investments into biosecurity threats to get on top of diseases such as foot and mouth and varroa mite.
The NSW Minister for Agriculture told Deborah Knight the money will help with “preparedness”.
“Being prepared is far better than responding in the blind.”
