Middle-aged men and suicide

Rev Bill Crews

With the tragic death of former Queensland State of Origin coach Paul Green,  Kayley Harris speaks with psychiatrist Tanveer Ahmed about the increase in mental health issues in the last couple of years.   Middle-aged men are more likely to die by suicide than any other age group. There can be a stigma among men that they should ‘tough things out,’ rather than seeking help if they’re having struggles with their mental health.

Dr. Tanveer Ahmed encourages people to reach out if they are struggling.
