The importance of creepy crawlies!

2GB Afternoons

Have you got a massive fear of creepy crawlies in your house?

Zoologist Chris Humfrey joined Deborah Knight on Afternoons to show off some animals whilst sharing why they are important for our ecosystem and why you shouldn’t be scared!

Mr Humfrey told Deb it’s accessible for kids to get outside and explore the natural world and interact with creepy crawlies.

“They’re often overlooked and underestimated for really what they do for the ecosystem,” he said.

“Every animal has a job to do.”

In his engaging and sometimes hilarious teaching style, Chris invites readers to take a peek at the fascinating world of Australia’s incredible invertebrate creatures in Chris Humfrey’s Coolest Creepy Crawlies.
