Olivia Newton-John’s longtime friend Richard Wilkins has remembered the “most popular Australian on the planet”.

The star passed away at the age of 73 after a long battle with breast cancer.

Wilkins told Ben Fordham her loss is “such a profound shock”.

“She was my auntie for a couple of years when Tottie Goldsmith and I were together.

“You won’t ever hear anyone say a bad word about Olivia – she was loved by all.”
