Celebrity chefs Colin Fassnidge & Manu Fieldel are sounding the alarm on the current struggles facing the hospitality industry

There are thousands of hospitality jobs available in Sydney but no one is available to work.

Industry leaders are saying the government needs to fast-track visas for foreign workers.

Manu Fieldel told Ben Fordham the issue with visas should have been sorted “years ago” and the process needs to be faster to help workers get back into the industry.

“The problem is also … half of the workers are not going to come back to the industry because they have got new jobs.”

Colin Fassnidge told Ben, that hospitality is currently “the worst industry to work in”.
