Chris Minns provides his plan on ‘fixing’ the Warragamba Dam

Labor leader Chris Minns is “skeptical” about raising the Warragamba Dam wall but has provided his thoughts on how to “fix” the issue.

Some are saying to raise the wall, others are saying to leave it as is and it’s currently a problem for NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet.

Locals in flood-prone areas are urging the Premier to act now.

The Premier is proposing a 50-50 split with the Federal Government but Mr Albanese is unlikely to agree.

Chris Minns told Chris Smith, Labor will look closely at lowering the maximum capacity of water as it currently sits.

“It’s a more affordable and cheaper way of delivering the same outcome,” he said.

Mr Minns also stated new infrastructure can be upgraded to make sure emergency evacuation routes are in place.
