Amazon site manager Sid Yadwad has shed light on how lightning-fast online orders get delivered.

49% of online shoppers in Australia have reported they’ve bought from Amazon in the past 12 months.

That’s a lot of orders to get to households!

Sid told Joe Hildebrand the warehouse they deliver from in Western Sydney is the size of Taronga Zoo and can hold up to 20 million items!

“It helps that we have 25 years of Amazon technology and experience behind us.”

Amazon Prime Day will kick off at 12AM AEST 12 July, with local deals running for 48 hours until 11:59PM AEST on 13 July.
