As Australia prepares for tax time, ATO Assistant Commissioner Tim Loh joined Joe Hildebrand with some important info about what we can and can’t claim. 

Taking questions from 2GB listeners, Mr Loh spoke about claiming working from home and covid expenses as well as things like laptops and investment property renovations.

“Don’t rely on what your friends at a barbeque say about what you can and can’t claim,” he said.

“We’ve got 40 occupation guides on the ATO website … it really depends on the job that you have.”
