Aussie actor ‘returns to his roots’ in latest project

Michael McLaren

Aussie Actor Remy Hii will be starring in Anne Bronte’s feminist tale ‘The Tenant of Wildfell Hall’, which opens at Roslyn Packer Theatre this weekend.

Bronte’s frank depiction of how vice and violence can have an intergenerational impact on families and relationships was very insightful for 1898 and remains, sadly, incredibly relevant for 2022 audiences.

The star has featured in Spider-Man, and Crazy Rich Asians, but is looking forward to performing on the theatre stage.

Remy Hii told Deborah Knight, it’s so important for him to “return to his roots”.

“I just had to do it!”
