Waste from sandalwood plantations could be turned into biomass feedstock.

Doctor Sam Van Holsbeeck from the University of the Sunshine Coast has won the Blue-Sky Young Researcher Innovation Award, for his investigations into whether unused woody biomass could help suppliers get more out of their plantations.
