Passport win: 2GB listeners off to the UK for 100th birthday
A family will be reunited for a special occasion in the UK after waiting months for new passports.
Listener Dianna called into Ben Fordham Live yesterday pleading for help.
Her grandchildren hadn’t received their passports to fly out to the UK on Sunday for great-grandma’s 100th birthday.
Ben Fordham got in touch with Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Tim Watts and managed to secure the passports.
“I just can’t tell you how grateful we are for what you have done,” Dianna told Ben, “It’s like a black could has been lifted.”
