Aussie sisters sing the right note to be part of the Queen’s Birthday Honours

Michael McLaren

Australian singing duo Vika and Linda Bull have been recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for their contribution to the performing arts.

The pair have released six studio albums after three classic albums with the Black Sorrows.

Linda told Deborah Knight the sisters never thought in their “wildest dreams” they would be worthy recipients of the honour.

“We love singing and making people happy… you don’t think you’re going to get an award like this from your country!”

“I keep doing laps of the lounge room!”

Unfortunately, Vika had emergency surgery last week and as a result, their ‘The Wait Tour’ has been postponed.
