A system failure has caused chaos at the Sydney passport office, leaving many waiting even longer for answers.

Ed Andronicus has been waiting for over nine weeks for his passport.

He was in the long line at the passport office yesterday for over four hours when a technical error ended his wait.

“They said the system’s crashed and I wouldn’t be getting in till 6pm,” Ed told Ben Fordham.
