A local fruit and vegetable grower has revealed why the price of produce continues to rise.

Currently, the cost of living is through the roof and now fruit and vegetables are at record prices as well.

Local fruit and veggie grower Sam Grima said it’s due to the wild weather.

Sam told Jim Wilson, from January to April the winter crops were affected and now the consequences are carrying over.

“Mother Nature hit us from all ends.”
