Dynamic duo Penn and Teller have explained how they ended up being members of the Magic Castle three times.

The world-renowned magicians are touring Australia for the first time.

Penn told Deborah Knight they have quite the history with the Magic Castle, a clubhouse for magicians and magic enthusiasts.

“We were thrown out before we were members. We never joined – they thought we joined – then we said some stuff [insulting magicians] and they threw us out but they had to make us members first.”
