Jim Wilson has ripped into Labor’s appointment of Senator Katy Gallagher as the interim Minister for Women.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was sworn into office with his deputy, Richard Marles, and frontbenchers Penny Wong, Jim Chalmers, and Katy Gallagher.

Jim is not a fan of the decisions.

“Ms Gallagher is a member of the so-called mean girls group and I’m sorry but in my opinion, there’s no way Katy Gallagher can be anywhere near this portfolio,” Jim said.

“How did Anthony Albanese think this would cut it and come on Prime Minister, you continue to talk up respect for women in the workplace and yet you turn a blind eye to very serious and damning allegations within your own ranks.”
