Mum shares heart-wrenching Miracle Babies story

2GB Afternoons

Aussie Mum Tara Webb has shared a heart-wrenching story of her twin boys being born prematurely.

Twins Luka and Austin arrived at 26 weeks.

Austin was transferred to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead due to his stomach and intestines not forming correctly.

Tara told Deborah Knight a Miracle Babies ambassador, it was a difficult time but the charity was able to assist throughout.

Miracle Babies is Australia’s leading organisation supporting premature and sick newborns, their families, and the hospitals that care for them.

“They helped us over the telephone because due to COVID restrictions, they weren’t able to have a presence with the kids that they can now,” she said.

“I would give them a call on their NutureLine.”
