Aussies have been told polling is more representative – but is it reliable enough to predict the upcoming election?

The polls predicted a Bill Shorten win in 2019 and are again predicting a Labor win this year.

Resolve Director Jim Reed told Deborah Knight an industry review has now strengthened the predictions for this year.

“They do remain a very good indicator of what’s to happen in the final days,” he said.
