Urban Infrastructure Minister Paul Fletcher has denied a $220 million upgrade in a marginal seat is akin to pork-barrelling.

The federal government is promising to upgrade one of the worst bottlenecks in Sydney – the Epping Bridge.

The upgrade is within the key federal seat of Bennelong.

Minister Fletcher denies it’s pork-barrelling.

“Planning work has been underway for some time in relation to an upgrade,” he told Ben Fordham.
