Andrew Regan is a devoted father and husband who suffered a severe spinal injury while playing rugby union for his local club, Orange Emus, on April 23, 2022.

He suffered a broken neck and, immediately after sustaining the injury, was unable to feel anything from the chest down.

At this stage, the injury has left Andrew an incomplete quadriplegic.

Andrew’s wife Jessie told Jim Wilson it’s been a “terrifying” fortnight.

“We don’t know what our life will look like in six months,” she said.
