How one veteran came to love ANZAC Day decades on

A solemn and difficult day for many of our veterans and family members, Iain shares his personal journey of how he came to treasure the day, echoes of the horrid treatment Vietnam veterans still clear in his mind.

It took Iain decades to attend a dawn service, his appointment as RSL President the catalyst. From three hundred people to now over 25 thousand at his dawn service, Iain shares joy in helping veterans and their family’s on ANZAC Day.

“I still get emotional about it because I lost people that I loved,” says Iain.
