What does the Anzac Day Cup mean to The Continuous Call Team?

The Roosters and Dragons will play in the annual Anzac Day at 4 pm.

A historical clash, the two clubs have competed for the Anzac Day Cup on 19 occasions in what is deemed as the biggest day for regular season rugby league.

The Continuous Call Team have described how important and special the clash means to them, NRL fans and Australian veterans.

David Morrow said the clash has become “something special”.

Mark ‘Piggy’ Riddell was fortunate enough to compete for both the Rooster and the Dragons in his playing career.

“Getting the opportunity to play on Anzac Day was something really special back then, and it continues to this day,” Piggy said.
