NRL legend Andrew Johns said Kalyn Ponga made the right decision re-signing with the Newcastle Knights.

Ponga signed the dotted line on a five-year deal worth $5 million putting to bed multiple rumours.

Andrew Johns told Bill Woods, that the decision will give the Knights a boost.

“The untruths being peddled wasn’t fair on him.”

“Hopefully, he’s made the right decision.”
