The Moulin Rouge is finally returning to Sydney this May and star of the musical event Simon Burke couldn’t be happier.

The musical has been more than 15 years in the making, with production being halted by lockdowns in Melbourne and Sydney.

Simon told Deborah Knight, “We’re very excited… to be coming to my hometown and the home of the movie and really the spiritual home of the Moulin Rouge”.

“There is nothing like the experience of doing the show.”
